This fall festival is well known for bringing the time honored traditions of Germany to Toledo\, with relaxed fun at Oak Shade Grove – 3624 Seaman Road\, Oregon. \nKicking the event off is a new Opening Ceremony – including a parade of German and European cars\, and featuring the princesses of the seven societies of the German-American Festival Society. No Oktoberfest would be complete without beer – and back by popular demand for 2025 is the hosted authentic German beer tasting experience. \nGermans love their sports and this year we are adding friendly competitions – from Schleuderball throwing\, to Masskrugstemmen beer stein holding\, and our returning Cultural competition. \nNew performances this year include the Toledo Swiss männerchor – dammenchor (men’s and women’s choir)\, joining the returning kinder (children’s) group of the d’Holzhackerbuam Schuhplattlers.
