If you want to have a showpiece garden this year Flower Day at the Farmers’ Market is the place to shop. \nWhat makes this event so unique is that all of the best flower growers in the area will be here therefore\, the level of quality is of utmost concern\, as this has become the premier flower & plant event for all of Northwest Ohio. As in years past\, our plan is to promote this event heavily in the local and regional media\, the cost of which is directly supported by the space rental fees that we collect. \nWear your comfortable shoes. Parking is limited\, but close-by parking in marked lots will be available without charge. \nLocal Boy Scouts will be available to help you with your purchases on Saturday and Sunday. A designated holding area\, manned by the Scouts who will also load the plants into your car.

This was a defining moment in the history of our state and nation. The First Siege of Fort Meigs would help turn the tide of war and usher in a series of American victories that would secure the Ohio frontier. General William Henry Harrison wrote that day\,“It is at length reduced to certainty that the enemy are about to carry into effect their threatened attack on this post” and urged his men “To your posts then\, fellow Soldiers\, and remember that the eyes of your Country are upon you!” \nJoin us as Fort Meigs hosts re-enactors from across the U.S. and Canada to commemorate the First Siege of Fort Meigs by recreating authentic military camps and tactical demonstrations. Experience period camps\, musket and cannon demonstrations\, battle re-enactments\, hands-on activities\, and more!
