Songfest is the University of Toledo's second-longest tradition and began in 1937. It's an outdoor singing festival meant to promote unity among Toledo fraternities. This song and dance competition is also a fundraiser for Mom's House in Toledo, a child care center helping low-income single moms graduate high school, technical school and college.
