SUMMARY:Street Supper
DESCRIPTION:Street Supper is a casual community dinner built around one long table in the heart of downtown Toledo. Bring dinner from home\, grab takeout from a favorite local spot\, or come as you are—shared pizza will make its way around the table throughout the night. Drop in anytime from 5–8 p.m.\, pull up a chair\, and spend the evening eating\, playing games\, taking photos\, drawing\, and getting to know whoever ends up beside you. As the sun goes down\, we’ll light the table together and close out the night with one simple idea: **you don’t need to know anyone to belong at the table.**

SUMMARY:Pirates of Penzance
DESCRIPTION:The Pirates of Penzance is a lively and witty comic opera that blends romance\, satire\, and absurd humor. Created by the legendary duo W. S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan]\, the show follows young Frederic\, who has been mistakenly apprenticed to a band of soft-hearted pirates. \nSet along the rocky coast of Cornwall\, the story unfolds as Frederic celebrates his 21st birthday and prepares to leave piracy behind. He falls instantly in love with Mabel\, the daughter of the bumbling Major-General Stanley\, whose comically rapid-fire songs and exaggerated intellect make him one of the show’s most memorable characters. However\, a twist involving Frederic’s unusual leap-year birthday throws his plans into chaos\, forcing him to honor his duty to the pirates far longer than expected. \nFilled with catchy melodies\, clever wordplay\, and iconic songs like “I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General\,” The Pirates of Penzance pokes fun at authority\, duty\, and social conventions while delivering an irresistibly fun theatrical experience. Its enduring charm lies in its playful tone\, memorable characters\, and the seamless blend of humor and music that continues to delight audiences of all ages.

Proceeds from the festival help continue those efforts\, allowing the department to make a lasting difference both on and off duty. \n“419 Music Fest is more than just a concert—it’s an opportunity for our community to come together for a great cause\,” said Event Director Todd Boatfield. “Every person who attends\, volunteers\, sponsors\, or donates helps us continue supporting charitable programs that positively impact people throughout our community. We invite everyone to spend the day with us enjoying incredible music while making a meaningful difference.” \nThe festival will also feature local vendors\, community partners\, and opportunities throughout the day for attendees to learn more about Toledo Fire Department Charities and contribute to its mission. Whether you’re coming for the local music\, the food\, the riverfront atmosphere\, or to support a worthy cause\, the 8th Annual 419 Music Fest promises something for everyone. \nFor event updates\, band announcements\, sponsorship opportunities\, volunteer information\, and more\, follow @419musicfest on Facebook or visit www.toledofirefighters92.org/419musicfest.com. \nEvent Details: 8th Annual 419 Music Fest\nWhen: Saturday\, September 26\, 2026 | Noon–11:00 p.m.\nWhere: Promenade Park\, Downtown Toledo\nBand Lineup\n• 12PM Whiskey Gypsy\n• 1PM Distant Cousinz\n• 2PM Venyx\n• 3PM Piggyback Jones featuring Calysta Bevier\n• 4PM 2 Left Missing\n• 5PM Noisy Neighbors\n• 6PM Leadfoot Granny\n• 7PM North of Nashville\n• 8PM Beef Carvers\n• 9PM Red Wanting Blue
