SUMMARY:Pysanky (Ukrainian Decorative Easter Egg) Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a meaningful and creative evening at this Pysanky egg-decorating fundraiser in support of Camp OFLA. Pysanky are traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs\, created through a wax-resist process and rich with symbolism celebrating renewal\, heritage\, and new beginnings. Your ticket includes complimentary Ukrainian snacks to enjoy. All supplies needed to create your own Pysanky eggs will be provided – no prior experience required. \nBeyond the art\, this event is a wonderful opportunity to support Camp OFLA\, a language immersion camp where students learn and live language through hands-on experiences like cooking\, singing\, dancing\, sports\, hiking\, and arts and crafts. Camp OFLA is funded entirely by donations\, and proceeds from this event directly support its mission and the Ohio World Language Mission: ensuring every Ohio student has access to a world-class education through second-language proficiency. \n  \nThis is the new MainFeed Media building they’re renting. As of now\, it might not show up on google\, so using the address is best! It’s right across from the Huntington Center

Samuel Adler: Fidl-Fantazye: A Klezmer Concerto\nJohn Williams: Adventures on Earth (ET)\nMichael Daugherty: Cadillac Ranch \nGershwin\, Williams\, and Daugherty paint wildly different portraits of American experience-each unmistakably connected to our culture. An American in Paris struts through the streets\, jazz-inflected and rhythm-driven. Noah Bendix-Balgley\, concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic\, performs a Klezmer-infused violin showstopper orchestrated by renowned composer Samuel Adler. Adventures on Earth captures the childlike wonder of discovery\, lifted by John Williams’ peerless sense of cinematic storytelling\, and Cadillac Ranch takes us to a quirky Texas roadside landmark. \nThe Toledo Symphony’s concerts in celebration of America’s 250th are presented by the Rita Barbour Kern Foundation.
