SUMMARY:Trans-Siberian Orchestra
DESCRIPTION:Huntington Center | 4 & 8 p.m. \nTrans-Siberian Orchestra is back! That’s right\, the phenomenon that started it all\, in the city that launched the rock holiday experience for the entire family\, Christmas Eve and Other Stories. \nTickets at ticketmaster.com and the Huntington Center box office\, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Toledo Zoo and Aquarium conservation efforts. \nDoors open at 3 pm. \nTickets $49-$89. \n“Christmas Eve and Other Stories” is based on the triple-platinum album of the same name and follows a story by TSO’s late founder/composer/lyricist Paul O’Neill.  In keeping with the classic line “If You Want To Arrange It\, This World You Can Change It\,” the story is set on Christmas Eve when a young angel is sent to Earth to bring back what is the best representative of humanity.  Following favorite TSO themes of “strangers helping strangers” and “the kindness of others\,” “Christmas Eve & Other Stories” takes listeners all over the world to help reunite a young girl with her distraught father. The album and tour feature such fan-favorites as “Ornament” and the epic “Old City Bar\,” both of which have not been performed live in recent years. The rock opera also features such TSO classics as “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24\,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithful\,” “Good King Joy\,” “Promises To Keep\,” and “This Christmas Day.” Additionally\, the tour will enjoy a new second set containing some of TSO’s greatest hits and fan-pleasers including “Christmas Canon\,” “Wizards In Winter” and many more.

SUMMARY:Halloween Boo Bash
DESCRIPTION:Put-in-Bay | October 23-24 \nJoin Us For Spook Times.\nGrab your favorite get-up and head to Put-in-Bay for the Halloween Boo Bash\, one of the last events on the Put-in-Bay calendar! You can expect frosty beverages\, great live entertainment\, and over 2\,000 revelers in costume. There’s nowhere better in Ohio to spend Halloween. Make sure you don’t miss out by booking your stay now. \nHalloween weekend is obviously a big party weekend for adults all over the country. However\, at Put-in-Bay\, it has some extra importance. Halloween is the last big-time party event before Put-in-Bay shuts up shop for the season and transforms from a Midwest vacation getaway into a tiny island community. What that means for you is that if you come to Put-in-Bay Halloween you get an island going all out. That’s the hallmark of the Halloween Boo Bash at the Bay! The main hub for the Put-in-Bay Halloween festivities is\, as it so often is with big events at the Bay\, Mr. Ed’s Bar\, and Grille. Mr. Ed’s will be hosting events all weekend\, including cash prize costume contests! All of downtown joins in on the fun\, with most of the bars joining the festivities with their own events.
