SUMMARY:Mannheim Steamroller Christmas
DESCRIPTION:Stranahan Theater | 8 p.m. \nDoors open at 7 p.m.\nTickets: $38 to $73 \nChip Davis\, founder and creator of Mannheim Steamroller\, announced the group will once again bring their annual holiday concert tour to fans throughout the country in 2021. “2020 was the first time in 35 years we did not perform our Christmas tour. And we couldn’t be more excited to know that we will reunite with our many fans in 2021\, sharing the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas experience\,” he said. Davis’ hallmark tour will begin on November 16th\, 2021 and run through December 30th\, 2021. Two traveling ensembles will hold performances in cities across the country. “I remember when I came out with my first Christmas album in 1984 followed by our first tour. Back then\, many in the music industry said focusing on Christmas just wouldn’t work\,” said Davis. “Now\, over 35 years later\, we are still going strong. I want to thank our fans for making us part of their holiday tradition. Today we often see multi-generational families join us during the holidays each year and we can’t wait to see them again in 2021.” Chip Davis is the producer of “Mannheim Steamroller”\, and no longer tours with the group. \nMANNHEIM STEAMROLLER CHRISTMAS by Chip Davis has been America’s favorite holiday tradition for over 35 years!

SUMMARY:Trans-Siberian Orchestra
DESCRIPTION:Huntington Center | 4 & 8 p.m. \nTrans-Siberian Orchestra is back! That’s right\, the phenomenon that started it all\, in the city that launched the rock holiday experience for the entire family\, Christmas Eve and Other Stories. \nTickets at ticketmaster.com and the Huntington Center box office\, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Toledo Zoo and Aquarium conservation efforts. \nDoors open at 3 pm. \nTickets $49-$89. \n“Christmas Eve and Other Stories” is based on the triple-platinum album of the same name and follows a story by TSO’s late founder/composer/lyricist Paul O’Neill.  In keeping with the classic line “If You Want To Arrange It\, This World You Can Change It\,” the story is set on Christmas Eve when a young angel is sent to Earth to bring back what is the best representative of humanity.  Following favorite TSO themes of “strangers helping strangers” and “the kindness of others\,” “Christmas Eve & Other Stories” takes listeners all over the world to help reunite a young girl with her distraught father. The album and tour feature such fan-favorites as “Ornament” and the epic “Old City Bar\,” both of which have not been performed live in recent years. The rock opera also features such TSO classics as “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24\,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithful\,” “Good King Joy\,” “Promises To Keep\,” and “This Christmas Day.” Additionally\, the tour will enjoy a new second set containing some of TSO’s greatest hits and fan-pleasers including “Christmas Canon\,” “Wizards In Winter” and many more.
