DESCRIPTION:Top Notch Sports is excited to announce our Youth CO-ED Basketball Leagues for boys and girls aged 7 to 12! This summer\, allow your child to grow and develop their character in a supportive\, inclusive environment. Our programs are designed to instill values such as honesty\, integrity\, respect\, responsibility\, fairness\, confidence\, compassion\, and courage\, which are essential for every child’s growth. \nOur leagues are open to both boys and girls and will take place on Saturdays. Your child will have one game per week\, and practice time will be provided before each game. The games will start at 2:00 pm. The cost is $60 per child PER SESSION\, which includes a reversible jersey. However\, if your child signs up for more than one session\, the price is only $40 for each additional session (jersey previously purchased). \nThere are three summer sessions:\n• Session 1: June 8\, 15\, 22\, 29\n• Session 2: July 6\, 13\, 20\, 27\n• Session 3: August 10\, 17\, 24\, 31 \nThe games will be held at Rossford Com Rec Center\, 400 Dixie Hwy\, Rossford\, OH 43460. This year’s mission is to provide help in youth sports\, clean and safe parks for our community children\, alternative activities for the youth\, and provide companionship and a little happiness to the community and the elderly while helping needy families throughout the year. \nAnyone who has attended the Strawberry Festival knows it is truly a family-oriented event for all age groups. The festival offers desserts\, games\, rides\, a parade\, merchandise vendors and much more. It offers fun for the entire family. Join us in DeRivera Park for many vendors and lots of fun! \nIn 1854 a Spanish merchant name Joseph de Rivera bought South Bass\, Middle Bass\, Sugar\, Gibraltar\, Ballast and Starve Island for a price of $44\,000. He began to develop two islands building a sawmill and a starve mill in the fall of 1854. He had the county engineer survey the area in 10-acre lots. In the first ten years\, de Rivera sold 42 parcels of land in South and Middle Bass. He sold a quarter acre of land to the South Bass Board of Education for a dollar. The park downtown is named de Rivera Park in his honor.
