SUMMARY:The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
DESCRIPTION:ERIC OTTO\, artistic director\nERIN FREEMAN\, conductor\n \nA wonderful Halloween tradition continues as Toledo Ballet brings The Legend of Sleepy Hollow to life through dance. Ichabod Crane\, a superstitious schoolteacher with a passion for ghost stories\, vies for the heart of Katrina Van Tassel\, the charming daughter of a wealthy farmer. But after a lively harvest celebration\, his journey home takes a chilling turn when he crosses paths with the legendary Headless Horseman. By morning\, Ichabod and Katrina have vanished without a trace. Featuring captivating choreography by Eric Otto and an evocative score by composer Jonathan Heck\, this spine-tingling production is perfect for the season.

SUMMARY:Trauma Residue - An Art Exhibition by Travis Trium Perfectum
DESCRIPTION:Travis Trium Perfectum returns to the gallery world with his sixth solo exhibition taking place at The Abyss within The Pale Horse in Toledo\, Ohio. Featured will be an all new dark art experience that further dissects the human condition and focuses on the effects of trauma. This is 𝙏𝙍𝘼𝙐𝙈𝘼 𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙄𝘿𝙐𝙀. Perfectum is known for his mixed-media approach smearing charcoal\, pastel and his original poetry with whatever is left of the human condition. The results always seem to lead to something provocative and thought provoking landing in the space of dark surrealism. “I wanted to look at trauma in all the crevices\, said Perfectum. The why and way it happens\, how it can shape us and dissect the aftermath of it. It leaves a residue. Something you can’t wash off. Something strangely tangible within our thoughts\, perceptions and interactions. These new pieces embody that and I hope cause a deep-rooted emotional response; for better or worse. There is a bleakness in these works\, something inherently affecting. But also a sincerity and an unapologetic truth that I think encompasses who we are as people. I find that very important to try to capture in my work.” Witness an all new collection of works revealed depicting realizations\, remnants\, ruins and the relishing desires created as a result of trauma. See raw and visceral translations of the human condition through art like you’ve never encountered before. Plus an all new 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 will manifest (a must see in person attraction). \nDo not miss your chance to see this unique experience live and in person. Perfectum believes art should be accessible to all\, so the show will be 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘. Make your plans to be in attendance for this special three day engagement.
