Grammy Award-winning organist Paul Jacobs is helping The “King of Instruments” retake its rightful place in classical music. Jacobs and the organ itself are featured throughout this program including Steven Paulus’s Grand Concerto with its “spicy harmonies and shining lyricism. The organ is dramatically featured as an integral part of Saint-Saens’ third symphony, notably the dramatic conclusion.
