Los Lobos

November 7, 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Stranahan Theater | 8 p.m.

Los Lobos music has been described as an eclectic mix of Tex-Mex, rock, folk, country, blues, R&B, and traditional Mexican and Spanish music. Their breakout hit was in 1987, La Bamba, which they scored for the movie by the same name. They have traveled the world sharing their music for four decades and are now bringing their global phenom to Toledo. Lead singer Cesar Rosas stated, “We are looking forward to seeing the people of Toledo this August and promise to put on a killer set.”

Opening Act: Los Sementales de Nuevo Luon which is a band from Monterrey, formed by the twin brothers Juan Carlos and José Antonio González. Though the lineup has changed over the decades, the founding brothers remain the group’s leaders. The Stallions play a very traditional meld of original songs and cover both modern and from antiquity; their music is a mix of sounds that have resonated with their fans since day one of the founding of the band in 1993. They are a beloved live and recording act who have never had trouble getting radio airplay, selling records or finding fans to buy tickets.

Tickets: $30-$100.

VIP includes premium seat and pre-show meet & greet
