Live at the Library with Seth Walker
Toledo Lucas County Public Library welcomes all to our concert series, Live at the Library, a series featuring musical talent as they tour the country. This month, we welcome singer Seth Walker.
Seth Walker is a prolific contemporary Americana artist known for his powerful blend of blues, gospel, pop, R&B, rock, and a touch of country. His rich, Southern-inflected voice and masterful guitar work have earned him acclaim across the music scene. His latest album, I Hope I Know, produced by Jano Rix of The Wood Brothers, and singles like “We Got This” and “Spirits Moving” further showcase his dynamic sound.
Raised in rural North Carolina on a commune and steeped in music from an early age, Seth’s passion for the blues was ignited by his Uncle Landon, a musician and DJ. Inspired by artists like T-Bone Walker and B.B. King, Seth has released ten albums, hit the Top 20 on the Americana Radio Charts, and reached No. 2 on the Billboard Blues Album Chart. His music has been praised by NPR, American Songwriter, and No Depression, among others.
In 2021, Seth added published author to his resume with his memoir, Your Van Is On Fire, offering a humorous and heartfelt look at the life of a touring musician.
Known for his captivating live performances, Seth has shared the stage with The Mavericks, The Wood Brothers, and more. Based in Asheville, NC, his music effortlessly combines roots traditions with contemporary songwriting.
Seth is excited to perform at the Toledo Main Library, where he looks forward to connecting with and performing for the Toledo audience!
