Experience the Zoo’s stunning gardens and relax with a guided evening meditation session. Ease your nervous system into a powerful state of deep rest, allowing your mind and body time to repair, release, renew, and rejuvenate to a state of well-being. Join Diana Spiess, a deeply experienced teacher, as she guides you through meditation, and feel at ease at the end to go on sustaining your health and wellness. Bring a yoga mat to sit or lie down on, wear comfortable clothing, and feel free to bring a blanket, bolster, or anything that helps you be comfortable for the session. After the class, spend time taking in the gardens, enjoy snacks, and experience the animals.

Unwind and recharge with either an hour-long yoga session led by Diana Spiess of Essence Mind Body Studio or an hour-long Pure Barre class led by Ellie Kaufman of Pure Barre Toledo and Perrysburg. Every class is followed by an exclusive Zoo experience! After your practice, refuel with protein-packed bites, energizing refreshments, and—if you’re 21 or older—a meditative mimosa to sip and savor.

Make the most of your visit! For morning classes, enjoy a peaceful stroll through the Zoo as the animals begin their day. For afternoon sessions, arrive early to wander through the Zoo and witness them winding down for the evening. For classes taking place during the Lights Before Christmas, stay late and take in the magic of the lights!

Please be sure to bring your own mat and arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow for time to fill out a waiver. Zoo talk will follow class and last 30 minutes. Yoga and barre are suitable for all skill levels.
