Free Admission at the National Museum of the Great Lakes
January 18 - January 20
The National Museum of the Great Lakes is offering free admission Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
“In the spirit of community, service, and reflection inspired by the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, we invite you all to explore our artifacts and Great Lakes stories,” a news release from the museum said.
The museum’s exhibits are open during the community appreciation weekend, but the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship and the Museum Tug Ohio are closed for the season.
Following the free weekend, Jan. 18-20, the museum, at 1701 Front St., will be closed for cleaning Jan. 21 through Jan. 31.
