July 4th cannot be observed without historical reverence. Come celebrate our nation’s birth and rich history at Fort Meigs.
Due to the ongoing health crisis, we are altering our Independence Day celebration to Saturday, July 4th from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. ONE DAY ONLY.

Instead of a single focal point event, we will be stretching the National Salute ceremony over 2 and half hours to broaden the accessibility of our beloved patrons.
The 18 State Salute will run from 1 to 3:30 p.m., honoring the states of our nation and leaders of this historic time. Historical music will prelude each tribute. Huzzah!
