About the author

Nicola Harrison is the author of several acclaimed historical novels, including Montauk, The Show Girl, and Hotel Laguna. Born in England and raised in Southern California, she studied Literature at UCLA and received her MFA from Stony Brook University. Before turning to fiction, Harrison spent nearly two decades in New York City as a fashion journalist for publications like Forbes and Lucky. She now lives in Manhattan Beach, California, with her family and continues to be celebrated for her rich period detail and leading ladies full of heart and moxie.
