Mosaic Butterfly Community Collaboration Day

The United Nations designated 2022 as the International Year of Glass and Franklin Park Mall is commemorating this honor with a special glass art installation on display in the iconic center court skylight. “Butterflies of Northwest Ohio” will feature 15 larger than life glass mosaic butterflies and you can help create it.Join artist Gail Christofferson when she brings four of the butterflies to the mall to be built by the community, for the community.Families can enjoy live entertainment, butterfly selfie stations, foam mosaic butterfly craft and coloring stations for the kids, and a chance to place a piece of glass into the mosaic butterflies.• Community Collaboration Mosaic Butterfly Build led by artist Gail Christofferson• Butterfly crafts and coloring station (while supplies last)• Butterfly selfie station (Tag Franklin Park Mall for a chance to be featured on social media)• The Toledo Zoo – Monarch Tag Information• Metroparks Toledo12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.• Live music by Distant Cousinz Acoustic Duo3:00 p.m. – 5:00p.m.• Live music by Hector Mendoza
