We will be celebrating the end of summer and the return to school in this mid August day at Woodlands Park. Besides all that the park has to offer, there will entertainment provided by Glovation Circus, live music by DCTaylor, sodas sponsored by The Bard’s Coffee, and food hosted by pop-up kitchen Now Serving.There is no cost to attend our family fun day!The CocoonThe Cocoon exists to provide safety, healing and justice for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, their children, and all others affected by these abuses. The Cocoon has evolved into Wood County’s only comprehensive and holistic domestic and sexual violence agency. More than 700 survivors of domestic and sexual violence, their children, and even family pets, seek support and refuge within our doors each year. Whether a survivor needs help at 9am on a Tuesday or at 3am on Christmas Day, trained advocates are there to answer their call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — always at no cost to the survivor.
