This 13th annual Open House at the Toledo Amtrak Station which serves Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan celebrates all things RAIL, and this year will commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Lake Shore Limited.
This family-friendly event, with FREE ADMISSION and FREE PARKING, has a mission of educating the public and elected officials about the importance of rail, both locally and nationally, and features model railroad layouts, rail history and advocacy displays, rides on handcars and speeders, children’s train rides, kid’s Operation Lifesaver workshops, vendors, drawings for prizes, food, and music.
