And of course, Middle Eastern music, a belly dancer and dancing will entertain the crowd throughout the weekend. Middle Eastern and American food will be available for purchase. Favorites will include sfeeha (meat pies), green beans and rice, baked kibbe (a meat and wheat mixture), grape leaf rolls, and the Middle Eastern pastries that everyone craves. In the Fast Food area Middle Eastern and American sandwiches, French fries, and the ever-popular Zalabee (elephant ears) are among the smells filling the air. Adult beverages and soft drinks will quench all thirsty desires.
A children’s area will include kiddie carnival games, crafts, and a bouncy house. The young ones will also enjoy taking photos and feeding the baby camel.
Self-guided church tours will run throughout the festival hours. Our beloved priest, Very Reverend Michael Shaheen, will be available for any questions that may arise. Church memorabilia and novelties will be available for sale. Many more family-friendly surprises will be offered for a fun-filled weekend.
