Toledo Farmers’ Market | 6 p.m.

Inspired by night markets from around the world, the Toledo Night Market will transform the Toledo Farmers’ Market into an evening of lights, food, live music, and culture.
Toledo Night Market will feature more than 50 local vendors showcasing a wide variety of handmade art, jewelry, and other craft items. Attendees can listen to live music by Piggyback Jones, stroll the beautiful open-air market at twilight, eat food from numerous vendors and food trucks, and enjoy local beer and wine while supporting area artists. A glass blowing demo will also be held during the evening.

“Our goal is to engage the community in a fun event that will feature local artisans and benefit small, local non-profits organizations,” stated Fancy Moreland, creator of Toledo Night Market. “We want everyone to enjoy the experience of being outdoors at twilight while eating, drinking and strolling through a beautifully designed market setting.”
Proceeds from the event will benefit It’s My Mommy’s Business Association, which was created to guide moms into entrepreneurship, and Read for Literacy, Inc., which serves the literacy needs of adults, children, and families in northwest Ohio.
General admission is $5, admission for military and seniors 55+ is $3, and children 12 and under are free. The event will be held rain or shine, and there is free parking at and near the Toledo Farmers’ Market, located at 525 Market Street in downtown Toledo.
